By the end of deployment, you have confirmed the tool’s performance on data from your own patients before go-live, and you have connected it to your systems and workflows with as little disruption as possible. Automated checks catch poor-quality inputs and implausible outputs. A monitoring dashboard runs, with alert thresholds and agreed responses when they are crossed, and every use of the tool is logged in enough detail to reconstruct what happened in an audit or incident investigation.
All intended users have been trained, the training materials are available and refresher training is planned. Each role has a named person, so it is clear who is accountable, how incidents are reported and when the next review takes place. You also meet the obligations that continue after go-live under the MDR/IVDR and the EU AI Act, or the conditions of the in-house exemption if you rely on it.
