What it is¶
The canvas groups its questions into four themes: knowing your data, exploring your impact, planning how you engage with people, and building ethics into your processes. You can fill it in alone or as a team, print it or use the online version, and revisit it as the project changes. The Open Data Institute adapted it from the ADAPT Centre’s Ethics Canvas and publishes it with a user guide and translations.
Where to use it in The ELSA Way¶
Ethical review and approval › Application-specific ethical issues: Its questions on who your project affects, the limitations of your data and how you will be open about its use help you list the ethical issues to raise with an ethics committee.
Related tools¶
